Thomas “Tom” Bohan brings over two decades of experience in a wide range of areas. He is a dynamic and dedicated attorney with extensive experience in corporate and business law. His expertise includes dealing with all types of domestic and international business as well as managing intellectual property, software licensing and acquisitions.

Currently, Mr. Bohan is Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for Volex, PLC, a position he has held since 2012. There he manages and handles the legal affairs for the leading global producer of electronic and fiber optic cable assemblies, where he advises them on global contracting, human resources and acquisition and developed a patent filing process for new product development.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bohan has been a general counsel to organizations that include Home Depot, Dell, IBM and was an ADA the State of New York. Mr. Bohan’s various roles included both a broad range of general corporate matters and more specialized counsel including electronics, intellectual property, marketing, real estate, IT, environmental health & safety, regulatory compliance, privacy, and software licensing.

Mr. Bohan graduated from Fordham University in 1984 with a BA in Spanish Literature/Political Science and Georgetown University Law Center/Washington, DC. in 1987. He is a member of the bar in the states of Georgia, Texas, New York and District of Columbia. He has had many legal articles published, is a committee member of the Istanbul Center and a member of the Walton HS Baseball Dugout Club.
