DoQuyen “Do” Nyguyen brings nearly two decades of experience in a wide range of areas. She is a dynamic and dedicated attorney with extensive experience in corporate law and corporate governance. Her expertise includes dealing with all types of commercial transactions, managing IP portfolios and licensing, as well as handling and managing litigation.

Currently, Ms. Nyguyen is Senior Vice President & General Counsel for BankAtlantic, a position she has held since 2005. There she manages and handles the legal affairs of a multi-billion dollar federal savings bank and its subsidiaries and affiliates, making sure they are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and rules governing financial institutions and public corporations, and helped minimize risk for the entities.

Throughout her career, Ms. Nyguyen has been a general counsel to organizations that include ADT Security Services, Inc., Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, Innovative Clinical Solutions, Ltd., the State of Florida. Ms. Nyguyen’s various roles included both a broad range of general corporate matters and more specialized counsel including governance matters, negotiations, commercial contracts, software licensing agreements, litigation, trademarks, M&A, compliance, H/R and franchising.

Ms. Nyguyen graduated from U.C.S.D. in June of 1990 with a BA in Economics, and U.C.L.A. School of Law in May of 1993. She is a member of the bar in the state of Florida. She is Fluent in Vietnamese and knowledgeable in French.
